Deposits
We fill the groups (4-8 people) on a first come, first deposit basis.
$1000, per person, is required to hold a coveted spot on an amazing adventure with Travel Craft.
Please see the Book Now page, or request a call from Cindy. You will receive a confirmation when we have the deposit in hand.
Payment
Deposit is $1000 per person, non-refundable, with the balance due 120 days prior to the departure date. You will receive a payment schedule and receipts after payments. Monthly detailed information on the trip will also be shared from the time of contract signing to departure.
The preferred way of payment is Zelle, checks, or cash. When booking, please let us know what option will work best for you.
Each trip has a different cost and different excursions and adventures as well as meals that are provided. We will list the items that will and will not be included in the cost, ones you will be responsible for.
Cancellations
If you need to postpone or cancel your group trip (before 120 days prior to the departure), we will transfer the deposit to another trip at 100%. If you need to change after you have paid the balance (from 120 days to 60 days prior to departure), you will need to consult your travel insurance for a refund. There are no refunds on deposits or payments. Balance can possibly be transferred to another person or trip date depending on the group, the date and destination. If you must cancel less than 120 days in advance of a trip, the balance is non-refundable. Please understand that these trips are customized for small groups and paid for in advance of the trip date, most lodging and adventures are non-refundable and paid in full, in advance, upon booking. This is exactly the reason I require Travel Insurance for all of my trips!
Groups
Small group travel means that I travel with you and the group of 8 people or less. If you have a group that’s ready to travel together, let me know, I can do a private group trip for you. If you are a single traveler, or a couple, we can possibly add you to a group, you are sure to make new friends!
These trips are adult-only, the minimum age is 30. If you have a family group with kids, let us know, we can do a private trip for you and the family!
Do you have certain dates you can travel? Don’t see a trip on your dates? Let’s talk, I am sure we can work out a date to accommodate your group!
Interested in having us write an itinerary and book a trip for you…but you don’t need me on your trip? I can do that too, for a small fee. (Fee depends on extent of the work you need me to do)!
Safety
Travel Craft only takes groups to safe places, Oaxaca and other sites are among the safest places to travel in the world.
On any trip, it is always a good idea to purchase travel insurance, in fact, we require it on our trips. When you travel to another country, most US health insurance companies will not pay for hospital stays or even minor care. Trip insurance will cover that as well as trip cancellations, due to the airlines, the country, or some of your own cancellation reasons. We will provide recommended agents and policies upon your interest.
After booking your trip with Travel Craft, proof of trip insurance is required, as well as a signed release form, passport number and emergency contacts.
